Rivia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Greater Accra Chapter of the Private Health Facilities Association of Ghana (PHAoG). With about 1,200 member facilities, PHAoG is the largest network of private health providers in the country.
We will be integrating these clinics into the Rivia Platform—connecting independent facilities directly to patients through a unified, tech-enabled system.
What This Means for Our Ecosystem
For Rivia Members:
- More Choice, Less Friction: You now have significantly more locations and care options across Greater Accra, all accessible through your single Rivia account.
- Seamless Experience: Whether you start with virtual care or walk into a clinic, your records follow you. No repeating your story, no starting from scratch.
For Healthcare Providers (Clinics & Hospitals):
- More Patients, Steady Flow: Gain access to a growing stream of Rivia members—individuals and employees from our expanding SME roster.
- Free Practice Management Software: Operate more efficiently with ProviderOS, our free clinic management system that handles scheduling, records, and billing.
- Scale with Support: Grow your practice as part of a unified brand and platform, without losing your independence.
For the Broader Healthcare Landscape:
This is a major step toward a more connected, accessible future for Ghanaian healthcare. Instead of fragmented clinics working in isolation, we’re building a unified network—where providers share technology, patients, and a commitment to quality care.
We’ve already seen how this model saves time, reduces stress, and can even save lives. Soon, Here, I share the story of a member whose life was saved because of our integrated platform.
Special thanks to our Business Development Director, Aboagye Mintah, for driving this partnership forward. This is only the beginning—we plan to expand this model nationwide.
